About the project

Ciúnas is a 3D animated short film that uses motion capture technology to bring signed language into a 3D space. Ciúnas combines topics of Irish Sign Language (ISL), Irish geographical history, and Celtic mythology.
When Flidais' brother Belenus grows ill, she must turn to the legends of the forest to find him a cure. Through her trials in the forest, she must learn to trust her newfound power and use it for good while others plan to use it for evil. Will Flidais save her brother, or will she succumb to the darkness?
